KOREAN HAND THERAPY

Korean Hand Therapy is a simple, yet powerful technique that can treat many health issues.  In fact, any condition that can be treated with acupuncture can be treated using this system as it is based on the same principals.  The fundamental difference is that Korean Hand Therapy views the hand as a microcosm of the entire body, and energy points are stimulated with magnets instead of needles.

Korean Hand Therapy is a wonderful system that produces astoundingly effective results.  Plus, it’s easy to learn.  My patients love it because it allows them to treat themselves.  It’s also very portable, so it can be done both at home and while you’re traveling!

Caution

Please be careful when treating small children as there is a risk of them swallowing the magnets!

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Do not use the magnets on your hand if it has metal screws or any other hardware in it.

Your hand is a microsystem that reflects your entire body’s system. Therefore, by treating specific areas on your hand you can influence different parts of the body. Reflexology is based on the same principle as it applies to your feet. These micro-systems are very powerful and effective!

Only to the magnetic strip on your credit card. Handle your credit cards with care when wearing the magnets, or better yet, don’t handle them at all with the hand that has magnets attached to it. Also, be cautious when using handheld electronics.  These are strong earth magnets and should be kept out of the reach of small children.

Yes, it matters. The side of the magnet that has a dot on it is the North side of the magnet. This side helps to reduce inflammation, so it is great for pain and swelling. The solid side is the South side of the magnet which is good for strengthening.

If you experience an increase in your pain after putting the magnets on, I recommend flipping them over.  If the dot is against the skin, switch it, so the solid side is against the skin. If after flipping the magnets the pain continues, take the magnets off and try applying the Head-Aid formula.

Yes. The magnets are safe enough for kids as long as they aren’t so young that they will try to eat them. Magnets are not a toy and should never be given to a young child to play with.
