BLOOD CHEMISTRY

What blood, urine and stool samples tell us about your state of health

and why they’re important

CB065581If you own a car, then you’re probably familiar with the smog test, a diagnostic tool that analyzes and measures the components of your car’s exhaust emissions.  If the levels fall within a certain range, then you know your car is in good working order and not creating toxic amounts of pollution.

Well, it’s the same with the human body. Sometimes it requires a more thorough examination than a basic tune-up can provide.  Thankfully, there are diagnostic tests available that can pinpoint certain conditions that a normal blood lab might not reveal.

A great deal can be seen from the blood if you know what you’re looking for. The advantage of Blood Chemistry Analysis (also known as Biological Terrain Analysis) is that it allows me to identify patterns of imbalance in the body before they become bigger health issues. Because the tests are based on nutritional values rather than lab values, it’s easier to pinpoint specific conditions, and once we know what we’re dealing with, I can then prescribe specific nutrients to help restore proper functioning of the body.

For those who suffer from significant health issues like Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism, Fibromyalgia,  PCOS, Allergies, Arthritis and chronic pain, it’s necessary to understand what is really happening on a functional level in order to effect real change.

It is not a quick solution but it is a rewarding one.

Testing Can Make a Difference

The Estronex test  (Estrogen Metabolism Index)

The Estronex test measures the ratio of two critical estrogen metabolites that give information on long-term risk factors for breast, cervical, and other estrogen-sensitive cancers.

Based on the test results, nutritional interventions can often be implemented to reduce risk.
